MGA Fall Golf Classic

Entries in the Michigan Grocers Fall Golf Classic can benefit the Paul M. Felice Scholarship Program for students and parents employed by MGA member firms.

In order to support the scholarship program and deduct a portion of your entry fee as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes, payment must be made payable to the 501(c)(3) Michigan Grocers Foundation (Federal ID #38-3417266).

Hosting the MGA Fall Golf Classic in 2010 is The Jewel, Grand Hotel’s own 18-hole course. The Jewel is best described as a combination of scenic beauty, playability and diversity. The course is comprised of the Grand nine, across the street from Grand Hotel, and the Woods nine, set more than a mile into the interior of Mackinac Island.

The Grand nine was built in 1901 and redesigned in 1987. The jerry Matthews-designed Woods nine was added in 1994. Transportation between the distinct front and back nine holes is by specially designed horse-drawn carriage. Throughout, The Jewel features lush landscaping and meticulously manicured tees, fairways and greens.

Make plans to play in this fun, four ball scramble on a truly unique golf course. Ladies and men of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to play. The emphasis is on fun, so register as an individual, twosome, threesome or an entire team.
