2006 MGA Fall Conference
The Connection That Worked!

MGA's Fall Conference was the perfect mix of business and pleasure.  Breaking new ground, the Super Sessions were standing room only, and the new Table Top Show's fun environment provided the perfect setting for retailers and vendors to build valuable business relationships in a casual atmosphere. alike confirmed the success of this year’s MGA conference.

Other changes made in the 2006 conference agenda included an optional Wine Appreciation Dinner, an expanded Bocce tournament, and an 18-hole golf outing spread over two different golf courses on two consecutive days.  Uncharacteristically wet and cool weather hindered the final day's events, but those who stayed to the end were rewarded with some great Silent Auction bargins and oustanding hospitality from conference sponsors.

MGA wishes to thank its convention committee, sponsors, members and guests, and the staff of Grand Hotel for all of their important contributions.

Right:  Tyler Refrigeration's Frank Cegelis, VG's Food Center's Mike and Sharon Staton and Nina VanGilder, and American Temperature's Sharon and Rich Rucinski are picture perfect in front on the fabulous view from Grand Hotel's porch.

Left:  Spartan Store's Alan Hartline, Zucca's by Felpausch's Corey LaGro, Felpausch's Mark Feldpausch, and McDonough's Market's Bill McDonough contemplate the future of the food industry...or the upcoming Monday night football match-up between the Vikings and the Redskins...you decide.

State Rep. Goeff Hansen, his wife Tamara, Pepsi's Mark Darrow and Sonja Denning and her husband Jack enjoy Grand Hotel's famous front porch during the Welcome Reception.

Tom Baumann, Shenan Davidson and Shane Smith of Ric's Food Centers are among the Group getting new product information from Kraft Foods during a Tuesday morning Super Session.
