Michigan
Grocers Service Corporation
In
1983 the Association formed a wholly owned for-profit
subsidiary, the Michigan Grocers Service Corporation (MGSC),
to provide programs and services that were not directly
related to its tax-exempt purposes including publication of
the Michigan Food News
and
operation of a manufacturer coupon redemption service for
MGA members. MGSC officers and directors are elected
annually by the Michigan Grocers Association board of
directors.

Michigan
Grocers Foundation
The
section 501(c)(3) Michigan Grocers
Foundation was formed in 1997 as a tax-exempt charitable
organization to raise funds for and to establish an
endowment in support of the Paul M. Felice Memorial

scholarship awards to college students that are affiliated
with MGA member companies by virtue of their own or their
